Located within the grounds and gardens of Mellerstain House, our self-catering cottages are an ideal retreat, and a perfect base from which to visit the many famous attractions of the Scottish Borders and Northumberland, with the seaside only 45 minutes away.
West Lodge
At the foot of the drive that sweeps into Mellerstain sits a fairytale lodge, where holiday-makers can enjoy an escape to the country. Two double bedrooms, a cosy sitting-room with open fire, and a private garden with views over parkland and the fields and woods of Mellerstain estate.
The Clockhouse Cottage
In the courtyard, next to the main house, sits the Clockhouse Cottage just a short stroll to the stunning garden terraces. Beautifully converted to a high standard from part of the old Clock House dating from the early 18th century. Open plan sitting room with well equipped kitchen and dining area, x1 double and x1 twin bedroom.
The Courtyard Cottage
Next to the Clockhouse Cottage is the Courtyard Cottage, converted to a 3 bedroom cottage (x1 double and x2 twin rooms) all en-suite, open plan sitting room with a well equipped kitchen and dining area.
